Os franceses, como se sabe, estão em pé de guerra com Durão Barroso. Isto dito, todos sabemos que o epicentro das políticas prosseguidas pela União Europeia não tem a sua origem na Comissão, ainda que esta lhe tenha dado cobertura institucional. O mesmo, aliás, se pode dizer da França, de Nicolas Sarkozy a François Hollande. Nessa medida, o ataque de Montebourg falha propositadamente o alvo. Mas Durão Barroso, o tal pragmático profissional, está apenas a dormir na cama que ele próprio ajudou a fazer. É a vida.
